Temora Comunity Centre Building

The Temora Community Centre (establish 1982) is a vibrant community based not for profit, non government organisation (NGO) located in regional New South Wales (NSW).

Our aim is to provide access to information, resources and services to support individuals and families develop skills and make choices to enhance independence, self-worth, and quality of life within the community.

The Centre in primarily funded by the NSW Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) Targeted Earlier Intervention (TEI) program and Services Australia National Agents and Access Points (NAAPT) program.

Our Team

Governance

Temora Community Centre Inc is governed by a management committee which draws its expertise and experience from various sectors of the community including business, services providers, education, local government and community members. Our management committee meets monthly to discuss and plan for the future.

Staff

All staff have received specialised training in their respective roles and are guided by the Centre’s established policies and procedures when fulfilling their responsibilities.

The manager is tasked with overseeing the daily operations of the Centre, which involves interacting with community members, supervising staff and volunteers, coordinating with funding organisations, and ensuring administrative compliance.

Volunteers

Volunteers are the backbone of our organisation, without them we couldn’t deliver our services!
